More pictures and birthday stuff :)

Hey, how is everyone doing. Its getting really cold here now. In fact as I'm sitting here typing, I'm having to blow on my hands to keep them from freezing. and walking around at night sucks a little cuz its freezing and no one wants to come out and talk to us if we knock their door. Most of our appointments fall through cuz everyone goes to bed a lot earlier too since its so cold. Definitely a little different than I imagine it is there right now being summer.
So last week on my birthday, I had a pretty good night. When we got back to the house I went upstairs to put away some of the stuff that I had bought. I was sitting up there when Elder Keogh called me down. He had taken a little cupcake and had put 20 candles in it for me. He, Elder Young and Elder Morris sang happy birthday to me. It was pretty funny. I wish I could send you the videos that we took but they are to big so I cant send them in an email. Then later we had a family home evening with our best investigators and the family that are members that live next door to them. They all told me happy birthday and it was really nice. After the message part of it, we all went to the table and they had a cake for me and sang happy birthday to me. It was really special.

We did divisions this week with the other sector in our district and it was pretty fun cuz I went around my sector with an elder from argentina, named Elder Aguilar. He is hilarious and he really likes to have fun and joke around. So we had a lot of fun. AND...we taught some pretty good lessons.

That is pretty much the highlights of my week this week. Nothing really happened big, at least that I can remember right now. Some of the pictures that I attached email are me wearing traditional chilean clothes. (I dont look bad if I do say so myself.) Another is me wearing sunglasses being bored before starting to study. The other 2 are Elder Young and me at the place that we ate at for my birthday. The last is one of the areas in our sector, called pomaire. Thats the front where you first go into the area and its one of the biggest tourist places in Chile. They sell all kinds of stuff there. Well, I hope you guys have a good week. Take Care.

Happy Birthday to Me...

I meant to get a package off to AJ so he would get it before his birthday, but got busy having surgery. I did send a package to him on his birthday (June 20th)...hopefully he'll get it some day.

SO, in the mean time, he had to buy himself his own birthday present. These hand crafted leather scripture covers were made by a local Chilean. Aren't they beautiful?!
